  Our first place to visit in South East Asia is Myanmar, whose total population is about 50.91 million people.  Yangon is Myanmars largest city and capital with a population of about 4.02 million.  The climate of Myanmar (part of the year) is a tropical monsoon; cloudy, rainy, humid and hot summers (the southwest has monsoons June-September); less cloudy, scant rainfall, lower humidity and temperatures during the winter (northeast monsoon, Dec. to April).  The average temperature in January is 77F, while the average temperature in July is 80.4F.  Myanmar receives an average of 98.6 of rain per year.  There are many ethnic divisions in Myanmar. The majority of the country is Burman which is 68% of the population; Shan is 9%, Karen is 7%, 5% of the population is other, Rakhine is 4% of the population, 3% of the population is then Chinese, 2% Mon, and another 2% Indian.  There is more of a direct line for religion though.  89% of the population is Buddhist, followed by 4% in Christianity, another 4% Muslim, 2% other, and the last 1% is Animist Beliefs.

  Our next country is Thailand, whose capital is Bangkok, but the biggest city is Krung Thep.  Krugn Thep has a population of about 6.51 million people.  The total population of Thailand is 62.46 million people.  The climate of Thailand is a tropical monsoon.  There are dry, cool northeast monsoons; but the southern isthmus is almost always hot and humid.  The average temperature in January for Thailand is 78.6F, but the average temperature in July is 83.3F.  Thailand receives an average of 57.8 of rain annually.  3/4 or 75% of the population is Thai, while Chinese is in second with 14%, and other in third with 11%.  95% of the country is Buddhist, 4% is Muslim, .60% is other, .50% is Christianity, and .10% is Hinduism.

  Our next country is Cambodia, whose total population is about 12.97 million people.  The largest city and capital of Cambodia is Phnom Penh, which has a total population of about 1.13 million people.  The climate of Cambodia is tropical; there is a rainy, monsoon season (May to November); there is also a dry season (December to April); there is little seasonal temperature variation.  The average temperature in January for Cambodia is 78F, while the average temperature for July is 84F.  Cambodia receives an average of 52 of rain annually.  90% of the population if from the ethnic background Khmer, followed by Khmer is Vietnamese with a percentage of 5, then after that is other with 4%, and Chinese with 1%.  95% of the population is Theravada Buddhism, while the other 5% is other.

  The next country in South East Asia we are going to visit is Laos! Laos has a total population of about 5.43 million people.  The largest city in Laos is Viangchan, which has a population of about 189,000 people.  The capital of Laos is Vientiane.  Laos has a tropical monsoon/rainy season (May to November); and there is a dry season in Laos (December to April).  The average temperature in January is 70.3F for Laos, while the average temperature of July in Laos is 81.3F.  Laos receives an average of 69 of rain annually.  68% of Laos is Lao Loum  (or low land), 22% is Lao Theung (or upland), 9% is Lao Soung (or highland), and 1% is ethnic Vietnamese and Chinese.  60% of the country is Buddhist, while the other 40% is Animist or other.

  Our next country is Vietnam, whose total population is about 80.31 million people.  The capital of Vietnam is Hanoi, but the largest city is Ho Chi Minh City which has a population of about 3.38 million people.  Vietnams climate is tropical in the south; monsoonal in the north with a hot rainy season.  The average temperature in January is 62F.  The average temperature in July is 84F.  Vietnam receives an average of 72 of rain annually.  The ethnic and religious data was not being released, or is not available.

  The next country we are going to look at has a population of about 79.89 million people. This country is the Philippines.  The capital of this paradise is Manila, which is also its largest city with a population of about 10.13 million people.  The climate of the Philippines is a topical marine; the northeast has some monsoons November through April; and the southwest has some monsoons May to October.  The average temperature in January is 78.8F, and the average temperature in July is 82.4F.  The Philippines receives an average of 80.7 of rain annually.  This is one of the only countries in South East Asia that is not really a Buddhist country in both Religion and Ethnicity.  The ethnic background of the Philippines are has follows:  92% of the population is Christian Malay, 4% of the population is Muslim Malay, 3% of the population is other, and the last 1% is Chinese.  The religions are has follows:  83% of the population is Roman Catholic, 9% is Protestant, 5% of the population is Muslim, and 3% is Buddhist and other.

  The next country we are going to visit is Brunei, whose total population is about 354,500 people.  The largest city in Brunei and capital of Brunei is Bandar Seri Begawan, which has population of about 74,700 million people.  The climate of Brunei is tropical; hot, humid, and rainy.  The average temperature in January is 80F, and the average temperature in July is 82F.  Brunei receives an average of 131 of rain annually.  62% of the country is Malay, 17% of the population is other, 15% Chinese, and the last 6% of the population is Indigenous.  67% of the population is officially Muslim, 13% Buddhists, 10% Christianity, and the other 10% is Indigenous beliefs and other. 

  Our next country is Malaysia, whose total population is about 23.39 million people. The largest city and capital of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur, whose population is about 1.36 million people.  The climate of Malaysia is tropical, with annual monsoons.  The average temperature in January is 79F, and the average temperature in July is 79.7F.  Malaysia receives an annual average of 94.2 of rain.  49% of the country is Malay, 25% of the population is Chinese, 11% of the population is Indigenous, 8% is other, and 7% of the population is Indian.  The religious beliefs were not available.

  The next country we are going to visit is Singapore.  Singapores capital, total population, and largest city is Singapore City, with a population of about 3.44 million people.  The climate of Singapore is tropical; there are no specific dry or wet seasons in Singapore, but there are frequent thunder storms!  The average temperature in January is 78.8F, and the average temperature in July is 81.1F.   Singapore receives an average of 89.5 of rain annually.  77% of the country is Chinese, 14% of the country is Malay, 8% is Indian, and the last percent (1%) is other.  The religious beliefs of the area were not available.

  The next country we are going to visit is Indonesia, whose total population is about 213.92 million people.  The capital is also the largest city.  The largest city/capital is Jakarta, Jakarta has a population of about 8.67 million people.  The climate of Indonesia is tropical with hot and humid conditions; more moderate conditions in the highlands.  The average temperature in January in Indonesia is 78.4F, and the average temperature in July is 79.3F.  The annual rainfall amount for Indonesia is 71.7 of rain.  45% of the population is Javanese, 26% is other, 14% is Sudanese, 8% of the population is costal Malays, and the remaining 8% is Madurese.  88% of Indonesia is Muslim, followed by 5% of the population being Protestant, 3% being Roman Catholic, 2% being Hindu, 1% being Buddhist, and another 1% being other.
