Fort Victoria in honor of the English Queen, Victoria. In 1866, Victoria was selected to be the capital of British Columia
when Vancouver Island united with British Columbia! Today Victoria is one of British Columbia's largest business centers,
a major tourist resort, and an area where many people retire to! Victoria is also a major port, it is the Pacific Headquaters
for the Canadian Navy!
