Have you ever stared insanely at someone talking to his or her dog or have you been the one who someone was staring
at, like me? Well now there is scientific prove that dogs can understand (finally. Ive known they can understand since I was little).
The proof came in a dog named Rico who was found to identify and fetch over 200 toys by their names.
Pretty smart dog but if you're thinking your own dog can't
understand, think about this. Have you ever said 'walk' or 'treat' and have them
paw all over you? Or even called them by their name and had them come? But those reactions are almost trained. Who doesn't get excited
about something they like (treat, walk)? If they can grasp those words no matter,
what else could they understand? For now no one is quite sure but it does prove
positive for those of us who find it easier to talk to their dog then a human sometimes.
After all, they always listen.
