Mesa is a city
in south-central Arizona. (The

Mesa is located near Phoenix, Arizona.
Mesa
was actually settled in 1978 by Mormons whom used the ancient Hohokam Indian canal for irrigation. Mesa was incorporated as a town in 1883 and a city in 1930. The Salt River reclamation project enabled the city of Mesa
to grow fruit and raise other crops. Mesa
grew rapidly, like Phoenix, after World War 2 through industrialization. Today Mesa contains Mesa
Community College and Mesa Southwest
Museum!
